The Cheap Seats with Pat & Kevin: A Sports Talk Evolution
The Cheap Seats with Pat & Kevin was born out of Kevin’s Sports Show, which originally launched in May 2024. What started as a passion project quickly evolved into a dynamic sports talk show, bringing insightful commentary, spirited debates, and in-depth coverage of the sports world from the perspective of two dedicated fans.
With Pat and Kevin at the helm, The Cheap Seats offers a fresh and engaging take on sports, blending expert analysis with the unfiltered opinions of lifelong fans. Whether discussing the latest headlines, breaking down game strategies, or sharing behind-the-scenes stories, the show delivers a must-listen experience for sports enthusiasts.
Pat Holland – Sports Broadcaster, Umpire & Boston Sports Enthusiast
Born and raised in Dorchester, MA, Pat spent much of his early life in the heart of Boston. He attended Don Bosco Technical High School, where he played both football and hockey, before continuing his education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Pat built a successful career in real estate property management, but his true passion has always been sports. For the past 16 years, he has been a dedicated baseball umpire, earning his patch and currently serving as the head of the North Attleboro Umpire Association. His commitment to youth baseball was recognized in September 2015 when he was inducted into the American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown Dreams Park.
A true Bostonian, Pat lives and breathes sports. He is a season ticket holder for the New England Revolution (MLS) and Gotham FC (NWSL), passionately supporting his favorite teams year-round. When he’s not in the radio studio, you can find him on the golf course, cheering on his daughter from the sidelines of a soccer field, or attending the RIIL eSports Tournament, where his youngest son competes for Toll Gate High School.
Pat’s love for sports broadcasting led to The Cheap Seats, a passion project that became a reality. The show currently airs on WOON - 1240AM-99.5FM - Woonsocket Radio.com, offering engaging sports talk and analysis. In addition to The Cheap Seats, Pat provides color commentary for Rhode Island high school football on WOON and covers Attleboro High School boys' basketball and hockey for WARA - DoubleACS TV - 1320AM. He also made his debut on the NFHS Network covering the RIIL Girls Basketball Semi-Finals games this past season.
